Your stay is coming up!
Cabin manual
Dear Guest,
We are very much looking forward to hosting you. In order to make your stay comfortable and relaxing, we have gathered a bit of information for you. We would highly appreciate if you familiarise yourself, and your guests, with the basics of the cabin.
We’ve taken steps to ensure a relaxing and comfortable stay and we invite you to take full advantage of our amenities. In return we ask you to treat the cabin as if it was your own and take care of it to the best of your ability.
Should something go wrong, be missing, or should you have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us with an e-mail at info@minniborgircabins.com or with a message at SMS/WhatsApp to +354 615 4848. We will try to respond promptly during normal waking hours.
We hope you have a pleasant stay at our cabin.
In case of an emergency the emergency services number is 112.

During your stay

As you will see, the cabin is equipped with all the necessary things for a nice and relaxing stay.
The beds have been freshly made for you and we’ve supplied towels. For the sake of the environment we kindly ask you to reuse your towels.
If you have any issues during your stay, please contact us immediately – we can often deal with the simplest issues over a text message og with a little phone call.
Safety and Security

In addition to exiting the cabin via the main door or the patio door, you are also able to exit every room via its window, also the window at the sleeping loft.
Please familiarise yourself with these exits upon your arrival.
Fire fighting equipment is available throughout the cabin:
- A fire extinguisher is located next to the main entrance under the stairs to the sleeping loft.
- A fire blanket is located in the kitchen.
A first aid kit is located in the kitchen.

Please Do Not Move Furniture!

For your convenience, we’ve arranged the space to ensure comfort and functionality.
We kindly ask that you do not move the furniture during your stay. Moving furniture can damage the floor, delay cleaning and maintenance, and affect the overall layout of the cabin.
Internet

There is one WiFi network working at two speeds. The network identifiers are “Cabin 5” or “Cabin 6” and “Cabin 5_ 5G” or “Cabin 6_5G” depending on in which cabin you are staying.
The password in all cases is abcabc2345 .
There is unlimited data included and speeds should be sufficient for 4K quality streaming on several devices at the same time.

It is important that the cabin is ventilated properly. You do so by opening windows in occupied areas. If there is a visible condensation on the inside of a window that room is in serious need of ventilation; please open a window immediately!
To cool you we will supply you with fans, but the simplest way to cool the cabin is to open two windows on the opposite sited of the cabin and get a draft going.
Heating and ventilation

The cabin is equipped with a floor heating system. Each room of the cabin has a thermostat and temperature selector. We will leave the cabin with the temperature selector set to 20°C (about 68°F) and we recommend you leave it at that.
If you feel the cabin is cold we do not recommend you to set the thermostat to a higher value as that will over heat the cabin at a point. Setting a high value on the thermostat will not heat the cabin faster. If you feel the cabin is too hot, setting the thermostat to a low value will not cool the cabin. In that case please ventilate the cabin and use the supplied fans.
The BBQ

The BBQ should be ready to use up on your arrival.
Please clean the BBQ after every use.
You are welcome to move the BBQ yourself between the patio area and the hot tub area. Please use the provided hooks for the BBQ table.
If needed, we have additional propane for the BBQ. Do not replace the propane until the flame goes out. During extremely cold weather, the BBQ might become unusable. Please notify us if you replace the tank yourself as we will need to replenish the stock.

The hot tub

Our hot tub will be ready for use upon your arrival.
Hot Tub Rules
To ensure everyone’s safety and comfort, please follow these guidelines when using the hot tub:
- Children must always be supervised. Never leave children unattended in or near the hot tub.
- Please take a thorough shower before using the hot tub. This is essential for hygiene and helps maintain the quality of the water. Be sure to remove any makeup, hair products, or lotions before entering.
- No food or drinks are allowed in the hot tub.
- Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. Hot tubs intensify the effects of alcohol and can pose serious health risks.
- No glassware in or around the hot tub—broken glass can be extremely hazardous.
- Limit soak time to 15–20 minutes at a time to avoid overheating or dehydration.
- Do not use the hot tub alone, especially at night or if you’re feeling unwell.
- Pregnant individuals or those with health conditions (e.g., heart issues or high blood pressure) should consult a doctor before using the hot tub.
- Please replace the cover after use to retain heat and keep the water clean.
- Do NOT empty the hot tub at any time during your stay without consulting us.
